Hostitelská péče u dětí s nařízenou ústavní výchovou
DEJOVÁ, Natálie
The aim of my diploma thesis was to map the experience of employees of children's homes and further of children's homes with a school and host care. The partial goals were to find out the benefits and risks of the implementation of host care for children with compulsory institutional education. The theoretical part explained in detail the principle of functioning of social and legal protection of children in host care, the system of institutional and substitute host care, differences in the life of a child in a children's home and children's home with a school and the principle of host care. In the practical part, the results of my research were clearly processed, and the research question was answered, which was focused on the view of the workers of children's homes and children's homes with a school and host care. Partial research questions found out what positives and what negatives host care can have for children with compulsory institutional education. A qualitative research strategy was chosen for the research of this thesis and questioning with the technique of semi-structured interview was chosen as the method. The data analysis was performed by the clustering method. Subsequently, two other methods were used; the method of simple enumeration and the method of contrasts and comparisons. The research files were selected by deliberate selection. The research group consisted of 5 principals, 3 social workers and 5 educators of children's homes and children's homes with a school meeting the selection criteria. My research shows that the experience of host care is for all workers positive, even though everyone is aware of certain risks that host care entails. However, they agreed that the positives of host care prevailed. The main benefit of host care, as can be deduced from my research, is the possibility for the child to see and experience the functioning of a normal family within host care. The main risk of host care may include disproportionate attachment of the child to the host provider or vice versa and the associated disappointment of the child or host providers. The results of my research will serve as acknowledgment to all employees of institutional facilities who participated in my research, and the brochure created, will also serve to increase the awareness of people who are interested in this issue.

Wiesnerová, Daniela ; Richterová, Magdalena (advisor) ; Blažková, Veronika (referee)
I choose the topic of my bachelor's thesis on the basis of practice, personal experience and the experience of colleagues in the field. I deal with the description of the activities and risks associated with activities of social workers to achieve the goals in homes for abandoned children with school. I used a qualitative research, method of semi-structured interviews, to achieve these goals. Five social workers from these institutions in Czech Republic were willing to do the interview with me. It was found that the role of social worker is very important and diverse in its content. The social worker is an intermediary between the institution for these kids and all other related institutions. Social worker coordinates the admission of children and administratively ensures their admission, transfer and release, cooperates and mediates contact with OSPOD, CSSA, Czech police, courts, schools and medical facilities. An integral part of his job is the mediation and enabling contact with the family, neighbors, foster parents, informs them about what is happening in the facility and maintains close contact with children and informs them about their family situation appropriate to the age and mental abilities of the child. The activities performed by the social worker also include cooperation with other...
